What it does

Copernicus is a generalized spacecraft trajectory design and optimization application developed at NASA Johnson Space Center. It supports high-fidelity modeling, finite burns, multiple optimization modes, scripting, visualization, and mission design across Earth orbit, lunar, libration-point, and interplanetary regimes.

Copernicus is distributed under a U.S. Government Purpose Release. Access is requested through NASA’s software catalog and eligibility is evaluated by NASA.
